The maintenance cycle of a forklift mainly includes daily maintenance, primary maintenance, secondary maintenance and tertiary maintenance. The specific time and content are as follows:
Daily maintenance: It is carried out every day. The main contents include checking the engine oil level, battery electrolyte height, free travel and working reliability of hydraulic brakes and hand brakes, tire pressure, working oil level in the vehicle hydraulic system tank and leakage at the pipe joints.
Primary maintenance: It is usually carried out every 50 or 100 working hours (different manufacturers have different standards), including checking the engine oil level, oil viscosity and degree of dirt in the oil, cleaning the battery, checking the appearance and tightness of the fan belt, and filling the clutch and brake longitudinal connecting rod with oil or grease as required.
Level 2 maintenance: Performed every 200 or 500 hours of work, including cleaning the engine oil pan, crankcase and oil filter, replacing new engine oil, checking and tightening the bolts and nuts of the tires, checking the free travel of the clutch and brake pedals and the brake clearance of the wheel brakes, etc.
Level 3 maintenance: Performed every 600 or 1000 hours of work, including adjusting the valve clearance, measuring the cylinder pressure and checking the reasons for non-compliance, checking the working performance of the clutch and adjusting it, etc.
Importance of forklift maintenance: Regular maintenance can ensure the normal operation of the forklift, extend its service life, improve work efficiency, reduce the possibility of failure, and ensure operational safety.
