AGV stands for Automated Guided Vehicle, also known as automatic guided vehicle, automatic guided transporter or automatic guided transporter.
AGV is a robot used for automatic logistics handling, which mainly transports items to designated locations through special landmark navigation. Common guidance methods include magnetic strip guidance, laser guidance and RFID guidance. Magnetic strip guidance has low cost but has certain limitations in site setting, laser guidance has high cost and strict site requirements, while RFID guidance has moderate cost and has high precision and safety. AGV is usually monitored and scheduled by a control computer, can travel along the specified path, and automatically recharges after completing the task.
